I dropped off my Peugeot on April 24th due to an engine fault. The vehicle was returned to me three days later after paying a bill of €514.74. I'd barely left the garage when the warning light reappeared. I dropped the car off again the following Monday, new checks were carried out, and the bill was €362.12. Here we go again, I picked up the vehicle on May 3rd, still with the fault. Proof that no proper test drive was carried out, despite it appearing on the invoice. Annoyed, I contacted the manager again, and they took the car back and kept it for weeks and weeks without finding the fault (or without taking any action at all, given the GPS tracker's activity...). As a result, I got my vehicle back on July 1st, still with the same problem, additional faults (car overheating, seized brakes, buggy Bluetooth), and €876 lighter. He told me that he thought it might just be the turbo that was cracked, that it would take a day's work to remove it, and that the part was worth €3,000! I asked for a refund; "The mechanic is bound by an obligation of results, that is, to restore the vehicle to working order. In the event of a defective repair, he must repair it at his own expense and compensate the customer for the expenses incurred." He refused, explaining that his employees had worked, that I had to pay for the hours, etc. He only reimbursed me for one part, which he was unable to justify: €126.31. I dropped my car off at an independent mechanic a few months later, and after only one day with it, the fault was found. And surprisingly... it was the dump valve that was cracked. Peugeot Partout-Marcelin had assured me that they had tested it, charging me €74. Furthermore, the turbo intake hose end seal was also broken. Once again, the invoice stated "turbo air intake pipe replacement €121.01." They didn't even meet their obligations (General Terms and Conditions). They also didn't respond to the registered letters sent to them.

Our car broke down Sunday night at 11 PM. They took it in after an hour to tow it to that infamous Peugeot garage, only to have it towed back to our region (a two-hour drive) for a mere 30 minutes of work on a spark plug, because "they didn't have time to connect the diagnostic tool, they were fully booked"... So, a week's wait for a spark plug that should have been changed in under an hour... hmm.

Never had any problems with this garage... Always attentive and friendly. The interior and exterior wash is always a nice touch... I recommend them.

Only for the garage brand, Peugeot. Otherwise, your breakdown is sure to fail.
