I came in today to get a quote. The manager was on his phone for half an hour. One of the mechanics came to give me my quote, and after 10 minutes, he was told off by the manager to speed things up. I find it shameful for a manager to neglect his staff in front of customers while they're still on the phone talking to another mechanic. Good luck to the employees with colleagues like that. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence to do the work, with such complicated relationships throughout the company.

Incompetent! I left my car with them, and it took three days in total, only for them to tell me they couldn't fix it, that it was a problem. Too serious, in the end, it was just a blown fuse.
Furthermore, the car wasn't "tampered with" as you say, but simply that the gearbox had been manually disengaged so the car could move. But apparently, you don't seem to know what that is.
Of course, you have every right to choose whether or not to take a vehicle, but ideally, you should have warned them beforehand instead of just saying, "Yes, we'll take a look."
