As a Dutch tourist traveling through the area, I recently found myself stranded with a broken-down car that wasn't a Renault. Despite this, Renault Garage Sym Automobil went above and beyond to help and assist me.

We received the best-ever service from the Renault Sym garage in St. Jean de Maruejols, following a flat tire on 15 August, when everything is closed for the national holiday. The town of Barjac was practically inaccessible due to the annual antique market, but they came immediately to assist us in the middle of all the craziness.The car had to go to the garage because the tire couldn’t be removed, which was another challenge. Meanwhile we were getting a little nervous because we had a flight to catch the next day. The kind owner worked on our car the entire day while his wife and children were waiting for him to celebrate this national holiday…what an angel, we couldn’t be more grateful. The owner is a true professional with a great kind approach. A truly highly recommended garage!

After a tire rupture we were picked up by the depanneur of SYM AUTOMOBILES. When inspected at the garage we came to the the mutual conclusion that the tire was not savable . We quickly agreed on a price and date for the fitting of the new tires. Because the tires had to be ordered that was only possible the next day. Much to our surprise however, our car was fitted with a loaner rim and tire so that we could get home that evening and save the money for a 40 km taxi drive. The next day we arrived at the agreed 2 o'clock and within 25 minutes the car was ready to go again. They even did a test drive. What a service!
Yes, it was a bit more expensive than our local KwikFit in the Netherlands but everybody is entitled to make some money and I was helped immensely by the team. Thank you!
