Quick and uncomplicated service. Friendly workers. They changed our broken lights although they were very busy. Thank you!

Hello,
My car broke down in St. Tropez on Thursday, February 12, 2026, on my way to work.
A tow truck came and towed my car to the Renault Fontaine garage in Sainte-Maxime.
It was a major repair, but I received excellent service both on the phone and when I handed over my registration in person on Monday, February 16, 2026.
They explained the problem with my car very clearly.
I highly recommend this Renault Fontaine garage in Sainte-Maxime.
I will definitely go back when my car needs repairs.
Sincerely,
Xavier Attia

I'm still baffled by the diagnosis on my Twingo 2. They told me the head gasket was blown and my engine was in the same condition, for a price of over €3,000. At that price, I decided not to have my car repaired and took it home. Two family members picked it up, and in the end, my car started perfectly, no warning lights or anything. We drove from Sainte-Maxime to Draguignan without any problems.
I took it somewhere else to see if it really was a head gasket issue, because it seemed strange to me that my car would run properly for a blown head gasket. The diagnosis was simply a leak under the hood, which was letting water in and dripping onto the spark plugs. They just replaced the four spark plugs and plugged the hole for €90… I was about to take out a loan to buy a new car, even though my car runs perfectly.
So, you'd like to explain why they mentioned a head gasket issue when it was just spark plugs that needed replacing and a hole that needed plugging? My car is from 2011, so is it too old to be repaired? Or does it have too many kilometers?
I find it shameful to make a false diagnosis, especially since you're professionals I thought I could trust, but I couldn't at all…
