Renault Varennes and the art of treating us like idiots... If you want, I can give you the contact details of a good mechanic to raise the bar. It took less than an hour to install a new starter that supposedly couldn't be fitted because it was under stress with the gearbox (which actually made a lot of people laugh (forums, local mechanics, and so on...) and I can't wait until we get to the gearbox for a laugh because in my opinion, we'll quickly find the problem that you wanted to charge €8,000 for without even changing the oil). And you'll have to explain to me why you removed the starter and couldn't fit a new one but could put the old one back in??? For your information, there are 10- and 12-tooth starters on this model... Just saying 😉. Now I understand the growing bad reputation... I don't thank you for the time and especially the money you've wasted on me (despite your €40 discount!!! Wow, champagne!!!). I fully intend to raise my dissatisfaction with Renault France and, if possible, with Mr. Provost, because such service shouldn't exist!!!

A minor breakdown on my journey just before noon, excellent service and immediate assistance with clear explanations of the problem. I was able to continue my journey without any problems.

The Renault garage in Varennes-sur-Allier is very competent, and the staff is very friendly. I recommend it for all mechanical work and other work on your vehicle.

I received a very warm welcome from the staff and the owner. I went there twice in a short period: once to have my windshield wiper blade replaced, and again to get a quote for supplying and fitting a tow hitch. Both services were excellent. Keep up the good work.

We received immediate assistance after an ignition problem. The mechanic was very competent. An appointment was scheduled immediately for a service visit.
