Extremely bad faith: I had license plates fitted at the Renault garage in Bois-Guillaume about a month ago. Since then, the letters "B" on the rear plate have been losing their white inserts one by one. I reported the problem, but I received a rather dismissive response suggesting it was probably due to a bump in a parking lot, implying I couldn't possibly know how I was using my vehicle… even though I only use it for my long commute to and from work, and I own other cars for shopping and other short trips. What I find objectionable isn't the refusal to replace a €20 plate entirely, but rather the contempt, the inappropriate insinuations, and the complete lack of self-reflection. According to the manager, defective plates "don't exist." It's a shame that such a simple service ends with such a bitter feeling. I'm sure the garage will find something to say (probably untrue) in its defense, but in any case, being dishonest with customers is the worst thing to do in this kind of business.

The owner is disrespectful and contemptuous, not to mention dishonest. His behavior alone makes this garage best avoided, seriously. And I don't think I'm the only one who thinks so...

The manager of this garage is unprofessional: she is dishonest, disrespectful, and acts in bad faith. Furthermore, the receptionist is unfriendly. Avoid this garage at all costs…

Coming from Calvados and heading to Bois-Guillaume, I got a faulty injection warning light on my vehicle. I stopped at this garage around 11:00 AM, where I was received kindly, to try and resolve the problem. They took me in as an emergency, and after a diagnosis, they ordered a new injector and replaced the old one. I left the garage at 3:00 PM. The staff were friendly and professional; I thank the owner, the secretary, and the technicians.

I strongly advise against going to this garage! After experiencing a loss of power and an air leak, I dropped off my car on Thursday evening simply for a diagnostic check so it would be ready the following evening and I could have it for the weekend (according to the receptionist, who wasn't very pleasant, by the way). As a result, they didn't say anything to me on Friday or Monday, and I didn't get my car back until Tuesday afternoon. This dear owner, Stéphane, told me I had two DPFs on my car, one of which was 100% clogged and the other wasn't (there's only one DPF, I don't know what he was talking about), and presented me with a hefty quote of €2,077. In short, this person is dishonest and runs this garage not to repair your car, but to take your money. €85 wasted due to his faulty diagnosis, as my car simply needed an AdBlue injector replacement, which would have cost €190. 1 star… because I can't give zero.
