Hello,
How can a post office close at 4:30 PM? Don't you think people have jobs? Retrieving a registered letter must be quite difficult, don't you think? Not everyone finishes work at 3 or 4 PM. Why doesn't the mail carrier come back a second time for registered mail?

This post office doesn't respect its opening hours; they do whatever they want and might as well close down permanently. My 88-year-old father needs to pick up a package. He's gone twice now during the hours indicated on the website, and surprise, surprise, it's closed. What's he supposed to do? He has until November 21st to pick it up, otherwise he'll have to leave.

Today I went to the post office (2:30 PM).
A nice sign indicated summer hours: 2 PM - 5 PM. Too good to be true, but the office was closed without a word!

This is unacceptable; this post office is always closed. A person who has only a few days to settle their affairs always finds themselves faced with the same information: it's closed.
I came here on Monday, June 2nd, to pick up a package from my husband, but they refused me on the grounds that I didn't have power of attorney, even though I had his ID (well, I get it, it was my mistake). That same day, I asked if the office would be open on Thursday, and the woman told me definitively that it would. And now, this Thursday, June 5th, I find myself once again facing a closed door. They're making fun of people! It's like not having a post office here at all!

I went with my mother to the post office. It was 4:50 p.m. They told me there was a computer problem. I had to deposit cash into my checking account for a transaction to go through. Don't take people for fools. I was directed to the main post office in Tremblay, as always. It's not the first time we've been directed to another post office. I left, talking to my mother, telling her it was almost 5 p.m., and I heard her whisper. Madam, for the transaction, it only takes less than 4 minutes. I work at the post office myself. Honestly, you should close this post office because there's always a problem. This post office is pathetic. Visit on Thursday, July 17, 2025
