I won't dwell on my mistake of buying a PureTech 1.2 vehicle... But I can only thank the team at Garage Lecomte for their efforts with the parent company to ensure full coverage of the costs incurred by this technological aberration. Faced with this €1400 bill and a lack of regular maintenance (regular, but not according to Stellantis), they advised me to open a mediation case with PSA-Stellantis. Ultimately, it was a spontaneous follow-up from a member of their team regarding the previously denied warranty claim that resolved the situation.
As always, when you're kind, understanding, and patient, even if you're unlucky, you reap the rewards in due time 😋
I will continue to entrust them with my vehicle!

The team was very welcoming, friendly, and responsive. This garage goes above and beyond to accommodate its customers, and I was able to pick up my vehicle earlier than expected. They did a thorough job. A nice touch: getting my car back clean. It's a small thing, but it makes all the difference. You can tell the customer service is different from other garages; everything is clearly explained about what was done to the vehicle and why. It's hard to find good garages these days, and I'll definitely be back.

We've been going to this garage for almost two years now, and we're always very well received by both the reception staff and the mechanics. They're very professional and always advise us with great kindness and expertise. It's a top-notch garage!

Dishonest!
I'd been going to this garage for six years. As the owner of a 2019 Peugeot 2008, I had my car serviced there every year. At no point was I informed that it was equipped with a PureTech engine and that the engine was prone to failure. The timing belt replacement was discreetly included in the quote for the six-year service. My car broke down at six years old and 85,000 km, the very month of the service. We received no assistance with towing, no access to the extended warranty (was the case even supported by Peugeot?). And this dealership offered me €500 for the car as a trade-in, barely the price of the tires I'd changed a year earlier! I was able to sell it for three times that price.
In conclusion: no warning whatsoever about the known engine problem. The timing belt replacement should have been offered beforehand under warranty. No one here seems to care about the safety of the users. I strongly advise against it. Furthermore, we will no longer be Peugeot customers.
