Following a "check emissions" warning that could cause a significant loss of power (a bad experience I had with a previous vehicle), I went to the Dabireau garage, where I'm a regular customer, first thing in the morning to get their opinion before embarking on a long drive to Manchester via Ouistreham later that afternoon.
The service manager told me he didn't have time to connect the vehicle to a diagnostic tool and that he wouldn't be able to determine the cause of the warning anyway (I wonder what the point of a diagnostic tool is!).
Clearly, this person, who didn't care about my problem or my tense situation, quickly cut the conversation short. I was bothering them...
I went to the Mecan'auto garage at Porte de Vertou, which, despite being very busy, took my concern seriously. They found a slot to connect the diagnostic tool. Fifteen minutes later, the technician gave me the diagnosis: an "oil dilution" problem related to recent short trips. He was able to do what was necessary to get the vehicle back in working order. I left with peace of mind.
It's clear I won't be going back to Dabireau, for whom the concept of customer service is completely absent!

Purchased a vehicle in August. The garage was very professional and friendly.
A small problem a fortnight after the purchase, beyond their control, occurred, but the garage responded very quickly to correct the problem and return my vehicle to me as quickly as possible.

We've been waiting for a quote for over a month! We visited the dealership and followed up by phone, but we never received anything. Once the vehicle is sold and considered too "old," they lose interest. It's a shame, especially since the vehicle was purchased from a dealership employee...
