Last week of August, my Passat had an automatic transmission problem. After calling 6 different garages, there was no solution until I found AD Chaumes. Immediate, friendly and professional welcome. He checked with his suitcase, gave me the quote, ordered the part immediately, telling me it would take 3 weeks from experience. They kindly lent me a car and called me back 6 days later to collect my car, offering to pay the bill in 3 installments. After 2 million km, I have experienced many garages of all brands, I have never had such service.

A garage to avoid! One year after a €1600 repair, including a new air conditioning compressor (circuit check and recharge), it no longer works! After the garage's "inspection," there was no leak, no defective part, but no refrigerant in the system! So, no more cold air... No explanation was given other than, "It happens, you have to use the air conditioning all the time!" Oh no, it doesn't happen! Not in one year and with very little use: an air conditioning recharge is supposed to last three years with normal use! So, was it an unacknowledged error on your part, or a scam? The worst part: no goodwill gesture, an additional €100 bill, blaming the car, or even the customer, because, yes, they don't use the air conditioning enough, so the refrigerant, feeling useless, is escaping! Seriously! The receptionist, desperately needing a vacation, is yelling even louder than the poor customers who have just been ripped off! The mechanic giving mechanical and technical explanations without knowing the reason for the leak! In short: A dispute simmering upon their return from vacation ☀️ Finally: I await your pleasant and courteous response to this review 😊 just as you were yesterday! Your response is exactly as I expected! Contemptuous and in the same tone as when I was surprised by the bill! The car, admittedly not new, only has 60,000 km, is permanently parked in a locked underground garage, and as you noted, was repaired by you for its air conditioning problem. So, if there's a leak, you should have replaced the seals, hoses, bolts, or whatever else was faulty at the time last year? No? Justify yourself however you like with the technical terms and theories of a dishonest mechanic. The customer will always be wrong with you! And my outrageous and arrogant behavior is on par with yours. Regards

Grrr, they did electrical work on my car six months ago, and then suddenly they don't know how anymore… no electrical qualifications… To top it all off: I even have a brake problem after driving 3km following a €190 service… In short, I seriously miss François, the old boss. Disgusted. And as for the answer you gave me, you mentioned a wiring harness problem. And brush up on your basics, my vehicle is 100% original and it's one of the first models to use Xenon headlights…

My car has been serviced at this garage for two years, and I'm delighted with it. It's a local garage, just the way we like it. From the moment I called, the welcome was friendly. My vehicle was always ready on time, and the mechanics were available to answer any questions. I recommend this garage and will definitely use their services again for a new vehicle.
