November 25, 2025: My car battery was replaced. Impeccable service, no complaints. For the battery warranty, I have to come back three weeks later to have everything checked.
December 13, 2025: This is where things get complicated: according to the person who checked it, the alternator is faulty. So, the estimate: €1559!! One month's salary. I refuse to pay such an amount. She kindly offers me payment in 10 installments. I ask for time to think it over. The following Monday (the car starts without any problem; I should mention that it's parked outside and it's cold), I have the battery checked by a mechanic colleague who confirms that the alternator is fine and that the battery is working. What to think? I don't know anything about it, I'm not a mechanic, and I'm a woman...
One small detail: the alternator part number listed on the online quote is €485.50 new from a well-known parts supplier... Is it any wonder garage mechanics have such a bad reputation?

Incompetent and dishonest scammers. Loss of keys, mishandling of the vehicle to the point of damaging the clutch, no honor and no love for the job. Overselling of services, without listening to the customer. Only good at changing tires, and even then, most of the time they give you different and cheaper references than those sold. Use fakes in court. Boss more than "shady". Hell for customers, and certainly for those who work there. Not even cheaper than elsewhere. Run away!!!! and if you don't run away, be more than vigilant.

I called in the morning to change four tires.
The appointment was made in the afternoon and the deadline was met.
The staff was super friendly and attentive, giving good advice. They're all kind 😃.
Even though the bill was hefty!
I had a great time with these people.
