Our car no longer had air conditioning.
The air conditioning motor had been tested OK by our mechanic, but they didn't have the means to detect the leak.
We went to them with this information.
Diagnosis: Motor and air conditioning evaporator to be replaced.
Verbal estimate: 1,300 euros!!!!
We picked up our car with scratch marks on the front fender, and the owner told us he wouldn't cover the repairs.
Okay, we're starting to have doubts.
We went to another garage equipped with a detection system.
Result: evaporator punctured with a rock.
Replacement of the evaporator and a recharge later, the air conditioning works perfectly.

Family-run garage, and that makes all the difference.
Lower hourly rate than in automotive groups, better advice, less waiting time.
For example, the garage didn't charge me for the diagnostic because it was the second time my car had broken down for the same reason. I recommend it 100%.

Super friendly boss and his brother, great receptionist too, perfect work, 30 minutes very fast, at 1h20 dealership and three-quarters cheaper labor, car loan unlike Bayonne dealership, on foot they strut about their car advertising with a park of more than 500 cars and don't respect the car loan maintenance contract... On foot they didn't even look at the last problem, days of planned immobilization.
Unlike the Montreal agent, responsive and attentive to customers, so I recommend with my eyes closed, a must-have Montreal garage, great car for sale too.
