A very disappointing experience with the Peugeot garage, which kept my vehicle immobilized for a month for a simple disconnected hose that triggered the engine overheating warning light. The breakdown occurred on Sunday, and the car was in their garage on Monday. I was forced to find my own way to travel 150 km to the Vosges mountains, where I was staying for a week to visit family. I needed my vehicle to return home (800 km) a week later. This would have allowed ample time, if they had been willing to carry out the repair, to act responsibly and conscientiously. I was dealing with a dishonest company, and I'll explain why. I called several times on Tuesday and Wednesday; it was very difficult to get through to anyone. When someone finally answered, I explained my situation, and they told me they would call me back. The call never came. It's now Thursday, the fourth day my car has been in that garage, and it still hasn't been taken care of. Several more attempts to call back in the morning and afternoon. It was shortly before 6 p.m., when the repair shop closed, that I finally got someone who was supposed to give me a diagnosis. The car was hooked up to the diagnostic tool, and that's how I was told that the degassing hose going to the expansion tank had been disconnected. Reconnecting it, which only requires fitting a clamp, wouldn't be done by the end of the week. I have two days to find a way to get back to Montauban. My employer expects me back at the office the following Monday morning; I mentioned this to the secretary the few times she bothered to answer my call. If this garage were honest, they should have informed me at the beginning of the week that they wouldn't be working on my vehicle. I would have found another solution. A friend who owns a garage in the Vosges would have come to pick it up and done the repair during the week. The incompetence continued with the billing, for which I requested a more detailed breakdown than the €209 (excluding VAT) charge for pressurizing the system and reconnecting the hose. I never received any response to my emails, and my name and address on the document were also incorrect. Like other reviews I've seen, I confirm that this garage should be avoided.

/ Unreserved Recommendation I highly recommend this car dealership. On every visit, I have always received a warm welcome, and the customer service has been impeccable. The relationships are excellent, the advice given is tailored to each customer, and the quality of the work and follow-up meet the expectations one would have of a dealership and repair shop. / Proven Loyalty Over the past twenty years, we have purchased all our vehicles from them, both new and used. This loyalty reflects the high level of overall satisfaction we have experienced with each transaction. / Distinction Between Dealer and Manufacturer When a problem arose with a new vehicle, it was solely the manufacturer's responsibility and in no way the dealership's. It is therefore important to distinguish the role of the manufacturer from that of the dealer. The dealer has, on every occasion, perfectly fulfilled its responsibilities, acting as the liaison with the manufacturer to guarantee customer satisfaction and the efficient resolution of problems. / A Remarkable Team The dealership team is truly outstanding. Well done to everyone for their professionalism and commitment!

I went to the Peugeot dealership this morning for a problem with the rear ventilation console on my 5008, which is less than a year old. The staff behind the counter came to look at the problem and told me there was probably a manufacturer's recall. After checking, there was no recall. They offered me an appointment, as it was impossible to get a technician to come out to replace two clips because the Peugeot Belleville dealership only has one technician available... during the holidays. So they offered me an appointment for next Friday. I have an 80 km round trip to get to the dealership; no leniency. We've already had two recalls in less than a year. Peugeot isn't what it used to be; reliability is gone. The service is no longer there. What's the world coming to?! I even got the impression that the person behind the counter understood me.
