Absolutely avoid them!!!!
My car broke down on the motorway in October 2025. I contacted them for a quick repair following a mechanical failure. They assured me they were responsive and would provide a quote within three days. In reality, after insisting with the support of my insurance company, it took six weeks to get a quote and diagnosis (Mr. Gerin never answers the phone or emails).
My vehicle hasn't moved since it was towed (it's at the back of the lot).
They quoted me for a used engine replacement without even telling me the cause of the breakdown. The quote was inflated (€12,000) with a buyback offer of €1,000.
Once I gave them the quote, they insisted on a loan, but only after a lot of pressure.
The insurance company concluded that the garage was trying to scam us by repairing the car at a lower cost and then reselling it. All these steps in 3 months and the vehicle still isn't repaired.
I had to have it towed to my garage myself. If you want my advice, avoid Garage Gerin at all costs. They are incompetent and crooks.
Latest update: I had to come and retrieve some belongings from my vehicle. They went to great lengths to prevent me from taking them, telling me that Mr. Gerin had to give his approval.
He had gone for a test drive and was coming right back. After a 30-minute wait, I told them that these were my belongings, that they belonged to me, and that Mr. Gerin knew this.
Mr. Gerin never came to see me. I was there for over 2.5 hours. He was indeed there, hiding in the workshop.
Beware of these unprofessional individuals.

RUN AWAY: I own a car with a maintenance and loaner car included. My car broke down and was towed to this garage. The breakdown occurred on December 15th. I got my car back on January 9th. The worst part is that despite my 15 calls during that period, I only ever got through to the receptionist, who always gave the same answer: "I don't know, I'll check." She was aware that I wanted a loaner car. It was impossible to find out the status of my repairs, impossible to get a loaner car as stipulated in my contract. A disgrace! I had to transport my daughters, including a baby, by bicycle in -5°C weather. I pay for peace of mind, and I had a terrible month!
WAIT, the best is yet to come. On January 7th, I received a call saying my car was ready. I replied that I would come the next morning to pick it up, and they assured me that the garage was fine. The next day, once I arrived, they had lost my car!!!! I couldn't find out where it was for an hour!!!! Appalling!
The manager wanted to speak to me the day I picked up my car, but he didn't understand that it was too late, that I had struggled for a month, and that he should have communicated before, not now!!!! I should point out that my car is essential for my work... What terrible management from this garage. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Following a breakdown on my 3008 at 1500 km after an engine replacement by Peugeot in Spain, it broke down again near Buzet. The vehicle was towed to the Gerin et Fils garage where the service was exemplary. The staff were very helpful and a solution was quickly found to overcome the lack of spare parts so that I could return home the very next day. Professional service.
