Excellent garage: despite the very busy period (week of August 15th), they agreed to look at our broken-down car and went above and beyond to get it repaired the same day. They even offered to lend us a vehicle while our car was being repaired, as we were with our young children. A very competent and honest garage with a genuine commitment to customer service.

A friendly, human-scale garage where customer service is truly valued! Passing through Cajarc, I had a problem with my shock absorbers, and the mechanic took me in immediately to diagnose the issue. The repair was quick and efficient, and the price was very reasonable. In addition to the garage, they have a wide selection of garden maintenance equipment, which is a significant advantage in a village like Cajarc.
I highly recommend them.

The initial contact by phone was very positive. She assured me I could pick up my new tire at 5 PM. When I arrived, the tire hadn't even been changed. She realized she didn't have the tire (after we'd hitchhiked 30 km because she'd confirmed on the phone that she had it). So we were stuck in Cajarc. She was aware of the situation and had reassured us initially.
We asked her what we were supposed to do.
She replied, "What do you expect me to do? I'm not going to dump your tire on you!" (By the way, we never once addressed her informally or insulted her.) She was determined to keep the wheel so we would come back the next day, knowing they would be closed for a holiday.
I insisted for 10 minutes, telling them I wanted my wheel back and that I wasn't going to make them any money—it was my right—and then suddenly the mechanic arrived and offered us a used tire for 30 euros. The moral of the story is, don't trust them, stay away from that garage.
