Below zero would be the fairest rating! Unethical, total lack of professionalism and shameful!
(I describe my experience so that those responsible for the service can evolve and correct themselves and so that potential customers are informed and aware of the risks.)
I make an international call to find out more info about a car (Peugeot 2008) for sale. They direct the call to a sales manager (Calvin LES BRAS) who confirms that the car is for sale, just waiting for the cleaning service. We talk for 15 minutes and, among other things, we confirm my interest and how I intend to pay for the vehicle. It remains to exchange some information, prepare documents to proceed with the business. I take care of what is up to me on my part, on the other side he says (Mr Calvin LES BRAS) that he will send the requested information and documents, but nothing happens. 2 days later I ask to know how the situation is and he replies that he (Mr Calvin LES BRAS) is not responsible and that I will be contacted by another (Mr Claude POHER) to follow up, who when contacts me, says that after all the car (which was just cleaning, supposedly) will take 3 weeks to be available at the dealership. As this is not a problem for me, I go ahead and reaffirm my interest, that I already have the documents that they requested prepared and that I continue to wait for the info and documents that was still left to be sent to me. Again no response (this time, supposedly, talking to the person responsible for the service), when confronted again he (Mr Claude POHER) says, 5 days after it all started, and meanwhile making me believe that the process was progressing normally, that he regrets but the car was sold!
Astonished and incredulous, I ask how can it fail at so many levels and during all the time that has elapsed! Total lack of professionalism and misconduct, and I ask for the contact of the dealer's manager to file a formal (official) complaint - which is a consumer's legal right - and which, until now, is being denied to me. Unbelievable! If you think it can't get any worse or you have doubts about the ethics and behavior of these creatures, I leave you the last fact for your consideration:
The same car is still advertised for sale (more expensive than initially announced).

Had 3 problems with car which has 1 year left on 3 year warrant. 1) Engine warning light coming on intermittently 2) Whilst in for this problem technician notice 2)drive belt had a crack in it & he showed me a photo of this on his phone
He also noticed 3) a knocking sound near front offside wheel, so we booked in for these to be rectified.
All were fixed under warranty & they may have even updated the software as I had a new speed alarm appear on the touchscreen which I haven’t seen before, ( was near a speed camera but not sure if that’s why the 90km/h alarm appeared). There is a technician called Claude who speaks good English & another man who is bi lingual who I think was called Michael which was an added bonus. Brilliant customer service from receptionist through to technician. Only negative is you don’t get a printed copy of warranty work carried out, you have to wait for Factory report, but I don’t think this is the garages fault, probably Peugeot’s. Oh, and the car was washed !
