OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
My grandfather, who has known this mechanic for over 35 years, was the victim of an attempted scam!
His Clio, which wouldn't start, was taken to this garage, and the mechanic told him the car was beyond repair.
He repeatedly claimed that repairs were impossible.
We asked a friend who doesn't work at the garage to take a look, and he quickly realized it was just a battery problem.
So, the conclusion: a car that won't start, a mechanic who insists the car is beyond repair, a third party who takes a look for two minutes, and the car is as good as new...
Sounds like a scam, doesn't it?

€525 to change four brake pads and a day of car immobilization… I'll let you make up your own mind (the average price is €250 and the average time is 2 hours).

Garage, excessive price, handwritten bill, beware of frail elderly people.
I strongly advise against it.

Ultimately, we didn't receive the part, so come pick up your car… And (basically) figure it out yourself… (the day before heading back north). Thanks for everything! I'll be sure to pass this information along to your head office…

Run away! I came here because of a warning light problem! I was initially told there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. The warning light came on again. I took my car back to this garage. This time, the mechanic estimated the repairs at €2,000. I went to another Renault garage, which carried out the exact same repairs for €300! Shameful! The parts cost the same at every Renault garage in France!
A dishonest garage that only wants to rip people off!
