I bought a 2008 in November 2025 from the Peugeot dealership in Chauvigny.
Since I don't live nearby, I requested delivery by courier.
I received my vehicle on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
To my great surprise, I discovered that there were dents on the front bumper.
The dents are quite visible because the vehicle is white.
At no point was I informed that there were dents on my future vehicle... There was no mention of it in the advertisement, no clarification by phone, nor during the video call I had with the salesperson.
Imagine my disappointment!
The courier also noted it on his delivery slip when he picked up the vehicle from the dealership and indicated
"bodywork dent."
I immediately called the salesperson, who was supposed to call me back... So I called them the next day and spoke to a different person, who clearly told me that as far as they were concerned, everything was in order! The vehicle is used, so it's normal for it to have signs of wear... I was offered suggestions: apply a white pencil or polish it (at my expense), and that should take care of it.
Of course, I know the vehicle is used, that it's been driven, and that there are some signs of wear, but I would have liked to have been informed before the purchase! That seems like the bare minimum for professionals!
On December 5th, he was supposed to let me know about any possible compensation he might offer... It's now February 11th: more than two months without any contact.
And I still haven't received the maintenance documents or the invoices... There were plenty of people trying to contact me to pay. Once the sale was finalized, no one was there... The result: I'm disgusted. If I had known, I wouldn't have done this transaction remotely!
