GARAGE TO AVOID
On January 6, 2023, I had my two front shock absorbers replaced at their garage: a bill of €500.
On May 27, 2024, my car passed its MOT, and the report stated: "Shock absorber: poor attachment of the shock absorbers to the chassis or to the front left axle."
Today, I find myself with a completely extended shock absorber (see attached photo).
I absolutely do not think it's right to pay €500 only to have my shock absorbers fail on me two years later, knowing that I don't drive dangerously or excessively.

To respond to your response, this was negligent on my part because I trusted you, thinking there would never be any problems repairing my vehicle at your garage, as I used to go there before.
Also, I didn't look at the MOT report, and if I'm only realizing it now, it's simply because the problem appeared a few days ago.
Yes, my car has regular maintenance, but apparently the other mechanic didn't see the problem.
Anyway, my vehicle has been repaired, and my message is only about PREVENTION because it's extremely DANGEROUS to return a vehicle to its OWNER in this CONDITION.
Besides, the place where I park your vehicle isn't your problem. If the parts were replaced properly, I'd be surprised if the problem would have appeared. Admit that you have some responsibility, especially a year after experiencing problems. It's astounding!

I've been having my personal and work vehicles (I'm a taxi driver) serviced there for several years now, and I'm very satisfied with their work. Their prices are very reasonable and incomparable to those of the big car chains. The quality of their service is impeccable, and to top it all off, they're very accommodating. Recently, I needed to have my particulate filter replaced. Due to a last-minute emergency, it was essential that I get my taxi back earlier than planned. They worked tirelessly, with several of them on the job. As a result, my vehicle was repaired an hour early, and I was able to complete my trip... to the "Grand Mendès" area.

This has been my garage for over twenty years. From Jacky's time then taken over by Sébastien in 2015. I am very happy with their services and the friendly welcome whether it is him, his charming wife or the mechanics!
