I dropped off my Peugeot 5008 on December 19, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. for a manufacturer's service. The standard check-in procedure was not followed. Upon arrival, the technician did not fill out the vehicle condition report or record the odometer reading (although I did note it myself: 135,859 km when I dropped off my car), despite these being legally and contractually obligatory. The vehicle condition report and odometer reading must be done jointly, meaning in the presence of the customer. I didn't say anything; I trusted them, thinking it wasn't a big deal for an oil change and filters. But when I picked up my car, the odometer read 135,876 km, meaning it had traveled 17 kilometers. I understand driving 1 or 2 km for a test drive after a service, but 17 km is unacceptable. I therefore realize that my vehicle was used for personal purposes without my authorization. I now understand why the person who received my vehicle was careful not to record the odometer reading in front of me. She must be used to these prohibited practices. I have asked Peugeot France to take action because this behavior tarnishes the image of garages, which is already quite poor. One lost customer, one bad review = other customers who will hesitate to come to you. A word to the wise! Response: You suggest I check the security cameras!! But I dropped off my vehicle at 8:30 am and picked it up at 2:30 pm. Do you really think I have time to watch six hours of video? But as soon as I have some free time, I promise I'll come by. If, when I dropped off my vehicle, you had filled out the mileage form in front of me (as is required), this problem wouldn't have arisen. Because when I signed the vehicle inspection report, it was blank, meaning the mileage wasn't recorded and the condition of my vehicle hadn't been checked. You filled it out in my absence. I'll be able to verify this when I review your security camera footage.

Every time I've contacted this garage (even for a clutch-type problem, or a simple diagnostic), the wait times are extremely long, usually 1 month, unlike other Peugeots. And the secretary on the phone isn't always very pleasant. In short, it's definitely not on them that I can count. I'll move on.

I left with a car with a poor diagnosis and an extremely long repair time. There is an obligation to achieve results but it is not there! Last problem, I am recovering the car with malfunctions on the vehicle. Once again, thank you for being professional and taking responsibility for the mistakes made rather than kicking and talking in annoyance. The comments below say a lot about the seriousness of your garage and I saw that I was not the only one, it exasperates me.
