If you have a vehicle under manufacturer's warranty and an unusual breakdown, don't waste your time!!!
18 months and almost 15 trips to the garage for a fuel gauge issue that's never resolved!
In the end, my number was blocked, as was the number of the person handling my file in customer relations.
No news from the garage. Well, yes, it's warranty, it's not interesting!!
Renault France (yes, the parent company) referred me to a dealership to resolve my issue, since Gilley is playing dead.
That shows a good image of the brand, well done!!
Response to the garage:
Phone not blocked? Strange, but neither my number nor that of the person in customer relations can reach you. We get a voicemail and nothing else, not even the option to leave a message.
Goodwill gesture? Well, that's new because I was sent to the dealership because the TechLine hadn't been returned from your garage, so to "avoid wasting time" (I quote Renault France) and to have more serious follow-up...
The commercial gesture they offered me was to change my vehicle and try to get me a good trade-in on my current one (in short, I'm still paying 👍)
Compliant vehicle makes me laugh gently because you yourself saw the problem, there are photos there too (in fact, you got them), and even the dealership says it's impossible what the fuel gauge says...
Basically (if you believe the gauge), this vehicle consumes less and therefore does more miles than the same diesel vehicle on the same route with the same driver 🤣🤣
Anyway, no one knows what's wrong with the car, but we'll leave it as it is, too bad for the customer.
