– Very bad experience We had an appointment at 9:30 am to sign a lease agreement at Citroën Briey. The result: a 50-minute wait, with no consideration whatsoever, even though I am 8 months pregnant. On every phone call and from the very first appointment, we repeatedly specified that we were not eligible for social leasing. Despite this, after more than 15 minutes spent staring at his computer, the salesperson realized that the offer presented and signed was only for social leasing. Another very problematic point: • a verbally stated timeframe of 1 to 2 months became 3.5 months in writing, • a stated range of 300 km was ultimately reduced to 212 km on the documents (electric vehicle). A lack of professionalism, contradictory information, no foresight, and above all, a huge waste of our time. Salesperson: Mr. C., whom we found incompetent in handling and managing the case. (Case in the name of wife Dinée) 👉 Avoid at all costs.

This is a garage to avoid if you want fast, quality service and a satisfactory customer relationship. On September 2, 2022, we took our vehicle in for a timing belt replacement. While testing our car after the repair, and despite refusing priority, the technician damaged it, and our car became a wreck. At that point, the person who notified us of the damage told us that we wouldn't lose out. No commercial gesture was made to compensate us. We should be grateful that our car had been properly assessed by the appraisal firm. For 53 days, we had to call, ask, and beg to find out the status of our file. Today, we finally got the manager on the phone (after several attempts), and he finally deigned to answer us and agree to finalize the payment of the amounts owed. We entrusted our car to them... and it became a wreck. A blatant lack of professionalism was demonstrated throughout the procedure following the damage.

I don't know what got into him, but the gentleman at the mechanical service desk with glasses seemed to be having a bad day given the welcome we received for a simple piece of information. Too bad...

As a resident of Val de Briey, I went to this dealership after the oil warning light came on in my car, which is equipped with the now infamous 1.2 PureTech engine. While checking the fluid levels, we discovered that the timing belt was cracked—a well-known problem with this type of engine, which can lead to engine failure. I decided to go to the garage immediately to make an appointment and have my car checked by a professional. What a mistake… The Citroën Briey team didn't offer me an appointment, didn't even bother to look at the car, and casually told me that a cracked belt doesn't necessarily break, and that I should just come back when the light came on again. No professionalism, no sense of service, a frosty and almost contemptuous reception. Fortunately, the Citroën garage in Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes took the situation seriously. They immediately diagnosed the problem and replaced the belt, which indeed needed to be changed quickly to prevent much more serious damage. I strongly advise against the Briey dealership for anyone concerned about their safety and the reliability of their vehicle.
