I came to the garage today to request a helping hand that had nothing to do with car repairs. The garage owner took the time to listen to me and provided a free service so I could leave with the two parts I needed to cut for my patient's wheelchair. Thank you for your assistance, Mr. Weinachter. Thanks to you, I was able to deliver and adapt my patient's wheelchair. Thank you for your welcome and kindness. Your garage is welcoming, and it's immediately obvious that you are an excellent professional with a big heart.

The receptionist was very friendly and would easily give me 5 stars. But not the mechanic who greeted me. Definitely don't go there with your significant other!
When we dropped off the car for an inspection on Monday, December 4th, in the late afternoon, he looked at the damage (a minor fender bender), looked me straight in the eye while my wife was standing next to me, and said, "It's not that bad. Being married is worse." Taken aback, I replied that it was a very personal opinion that I didn't share. But I consider that kind of remark inappropriate and offensive; my wife felt downright insulted.
It was agreed that after the assessor's visit—"he'll come tomorrow between 8 and 10"—they would swap the snow tires, which were in the trunk, with the summer tires, which were still mounted, and that they would call me immediately so I could pick up the vehicle.
Tuesday, Wednesday – no news. Thursday, Friday, I was bedridden.
This morning, Monday the 11th, I called the garage to ask if they had lost my car. I learned that yes, the insurance adjuster had come by, but that they hadn't heard anything about the assessment – and that the wheels hadn't been put on. In a week!
After my insistence, I was able to pick up the car at 3:00 PM, and they told me, "But you shouldn't drive it, it definitely needs a wheel alignment," and also that the repair couldn't be done before January.
Did they really plan to keep my car for six weeks or more for a minor fender bender?
