I came in for a service quote for my Renault Captur and was very disappointed. I explained my request to the gentleman at reception, who gave me the information hesitantly. Against all expectations, I left the garage with a quote for over €400 for everything. Their attitude has definitely changed; they're pushing for unnecessary work. I won't be going back.

I had an accident a year ago now. Out of habit, I went to my usual mechanic, knowing that the garage was in the process of changing hands. What a disappointment. The garage billed my insurance company over €9,000 for repairs to return a car with a crooked bumper (very visible) and faulty windshield washer nozzles (I was simply spraying water on the car behind me). It's probably easier to charge large sums when the insurance company takes care of it directly. I had to insist that they take the car back and put the bumper back straight. After waiting for months, they finally took it for a day. Surprise: when I got my car back, the bumper was still crooked, and they told me they had fixed another problem with the fender. I have no proof that this is the case, since I hadn't even noticed this "other problem" at €834. Another two months of waiting, forced to call back. Finally, they took my vehicle back to repair this famous crooked bumper, not forgetting to check the injectors, forgotten during the previous repair. They called me back: they told me the injectors were faulty and that they were my responsibility, even though they had been installed during the first repair. They also told me that the bumper had been replaced, and surprise: no, it's still not straight. I will not recommend this garage again and I will never set foot there again.

Well, Garage Plouvier (formerly Garage Moulin, which I've known for almost 50 years) has maintained the level of service I've experienced. My car was taken care of twice in February and March following a major battery problem and a flood of engine alarms. The quote was respected, as were the deadlines. A vehicle loan was also arranged. Thank you again for the team's availability and the excellent level of service.
