I regret breaking down on the road and having my 3008 end up at the Peugeot garage in La Charité-sur-Loire. The initial quote was €2700 for a single faulty injector... Luckily, my father contacted them and received a revised quote of €1400. They made further calls to increase the bill, suggesting an air filter change and a light bulb replacement... Furthermore, they pressured me to pick up the vehicle as soon as possible. Living two hours from the garage and having a job, this isn't easy, and they showed no understanding whatsoever. When I finally collected my 3008, the receptionist was very friendly, but when I asked to pay in two installments, she asked her boss (I assume), who had no trouble getting up to explain things to me directly and then shouted from his office that we were already two months in the process. It wasn't my fault that I broke down at the end of November and had to pick it up at the beginning of December. There are ways to speak to customers. To top it all off, and why I want to warn you about the serious professional shortcomings of this garage, is that when I left, my car wouldn't engage 5th and 6th gears. My mechanic told me that a part hadn't been properly tightened and had gotten stuck in the linkage. I do not recommend this garage!

I highly recommend Garage St Lazare in La Charité-sur-Loire. The staff are very pleasant and respectful of their customers. Following our AdBlue problem with our Peugeot 3008, the garage quickly handled the claim with our insurance company. Our car was repaired within 48 hours. Thank you again for your help.
