For a woman, it's not uncommon to encounter a touch of machismo when we enter a car repair shop.
But if you want to be taken for an idiot, you'll be served.
From the start, the owner was reluctant to come to my vehicle (parked in front of the door).
I came in about a heating problem with my car, and they told me there was no problem, that we didn't drive with the heating on full blast anyway. He even asked me if I'd ever had another vehicle and criticized me for wasting his time.
The verdict came the same week: the heater core needed replacing.
In short, a medal for incompetence and disastrous customer relations. Avoid ++.
