No idea where google got this - I was never at that dealer. The one I visited was very nice (Grenoble, it was only to ask a question)

Catastrophic Experience – Unacceptable Practices I am a private chef/catering service provider. My vehicle is my work tool. Following engine failure (timing belt snapped completely), I purchased a standard engine myself from a specialized factory for €2,700, which I paid separately. This authorized Peugeot garage then charged me approximately €3,500 more, covering labor, as well as the promised replacement of the clutch, seals (including the oil seal), and various other parts. ➜ Total cost: over €6,000. Upon receiving the vehicle: • Abnormally stiff clutch • Difficult to shift gears • Rapidly appearing oil leaks Back at the garage: the leaks were acknowledged, including one from the engine (which I purchased separately and which was covered under warranty by the other company without question), and another related to a crankshaft seal, which I was, of course, charged for. They refused to acknowledge the problem. They then lent me an old, poorly maintained vehicle, which I then broke down in Nice. Garage's reaction: • Total incomprehension • Bad faith • Attempt to charge me for towing, even though it was a loaner vehicle Result: • Vehicle abandoned on the spot • Taxi paid for out of my own pocket • No solution, no assistance Later, I picked up my car • Flashing odometer → incorrect diagnosis (they explained it was a USB port…) • Problem returned • New oil leak, on a seal that was supposed to have been replaced and billed In the middle of the busy season, the manager went on vacation and no solution was offered, despite the urgency of my situation. I was forced to have the car repaired urgently at another garage, at my own expense. Eight months after the repair, the clutch started smoking and smelling burnt, even though the invoice stated: • New clutch • Seals replaced When I called back: • Disdainful tone • They hung up on me • Complete refusal to take responsibility or even engage in dialogue Non-existent customer service, no accountability whatsoever. The only professional person at this establishment was the receptionist, who did what she could. As a professional myself, with a Google listing for my business, I would like to remind everyone that public reviews and responses are the responsibility of each individual. Any inaccurate or inappropriate response will be documented and dealt with accordingly. In summary: • Engine paid for separately • High billing without reliable results • Repeated breakdowns • No follow-up • No respect for the customer I strongly advise against using this garage, especially if your vehicle is essential to your business.

Purchased a new 3008 for €40,000. Two months later, I was called back for a recall campaign to replace a suspension arm. I went to Canovas in La Turbie, an authorized Peugeot dealer. The next day, I picked up the vehicle with a host of problems. The car had barely 6,000 km on it, and already, warning lights were on the dashboard, the trunk wouldn't open, and after the suspension arm replacement, the car pulled to the right. After a somewhat heated exchange, Canovas agreed to carry out the repairs, BUT ONLY AT MY EXPENSE! Afterwards, I checked the reviews on Google, and indeed, their reputation leaves much to be desired. So, a word of advice: if you have the slightest problem with your Peugeot or any other vehicle, go to any garage except Canovas! It will cost you far more than expected in money and time, and in the end, you'll get your vehicle back in worse condition than when you dropped it off! They are simply incompetent, not at all business-minded, in short, they are completely useless!
