I made an appointment at the Carbone garage for a problem with my 308 (photos attached).
After the diagnosis, the mechanic informed me that the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) needed to be replaced to fix the issue. I accepted the quote. However, due to his mistake, replacing the DPF didn't resolve the problem. I paid this first, rather expensive, bill. He then informed me that the AdBlue tank was the likely culprit and needed replacing. A 10% discount, free labor, and a payment plan convinced me to accept this second quote. Problem solved. I ended up paying a second, rather expensive, "repair" bill.

A very clean garage that does excellent work. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, deadlines are met, and the prices are reasonable. I was there today for work on my vehicle, and the service was consistently impeccable and quick. They clearly explained the necessary repairs and the associated costs, so there were no unpleasant surprises. You can go there with complete confidence.

€228 to install a replacement ECU (not supplied) and reprogram it. Not cheap, but on top of that, the ECU was reprogrammed incorrectly, despite the original ECU being provided alongside the new one! Not a great garage!
