It's a real shame to be hung up on when you ask for information about a vehicle that has been serviced at this garage and had a major repair, including an engine replacement.
I bought this car from a third-party dealer, and since I don't live near this garage, and I simply wanted to ask about the engine that was replaced there, instead of just informing me or reassuring me about this type of vehicle, they politely told me that the vehicle was no longer in their possession, that they had no obligation to provide me with any information, and that if I wanted any, I would have to be a customer.
I understand their position, but a little more consideration for customers would have been welcome instead of feeling like just a walking wallet.
I've noticed on other posts that communication isn't their strong point. Perhaps they have enough customers that they don't want to be open to others. It's a real shame that money comes before customer service!
