Travelling back from holiday our VW Van broke down. The rear brakes got stuck and overheated. We explained our situation and got an appointment for the next day. Within 1 hours our car was fixed an we were able to continue our travel home without much delay. Thank you for a very good and immediate service.

My Renault Scenic broke down due to turbo failure. I got it back after a considerable amount of work. The vehicle was declared repaired, tested, and deemed ready for return to the Paris region. The reality: unsecured drive shafts, a punctured coolant hose during the repairs, an unsecured exhaust system, etc., etc., etc. After a three-month wait, I had to leave the vehicle in Clermont for another two months to redo all the supposedly completed work. This resulted in a transmission replacement, replacement of all the bolts, etc., etc. The costs were covered, however, I received no apology, no compensation for any of the damages, and to make matters worse, they send you to their lawyer, stalling to avoid taking responsibility. We'll see what happens in court. This garage is to be avoided at all costs and is a danger to your safety. If you can go elsewhere, do so!

For local customers, it may be a good garage, but for passing customers who break down and are towed to this garage, get them towed elsewhere! Coming from Burgundy, on our way to an 8-day vacation heading south, we broke down on the A75. Our Kadjar, recently purchased from a Renault dealership, was completely serviced and refurbished when it was sold, along with a 1-year extended warranty. It had only covered 2,800 km since its purchase. The roadside assistance service had the car towed to the Excel Auto garage in Marvejols. On site, Mr. Rocher, the owner's son, told us that the car wouldn't be inspected for another week and had no idea how long it would take to repair it. Incredulous and assuming a minor breakdown due to the recent service, we requested a quick visit to the suitcase. We explained that we were just starting our vacation and that we would lose our reservations, which were impossible to cancel at the last minute. We even offered to spend a night there to give the garage more time. But Mr. Rocher Jr. remained inflexible, citing a full appointment schedule until Christmas, and added, laughing, that he'd seen customers like us all summer. We were stunned by this suggestion. My wife worked with our assistance to find a solution that would save our vacation. We were offered a loaner car for 10 days, as stipulated in our contract. Except that with a one-week turnaround time just to inspect the car, and then an unknown timeframe for repairs, we thought 10 days wouldn't be enough. We were then offered a taxi ride home. Frustrated and tired (we're 75 years old), we accepted and left the car at the garage. A week passed with no news. We called Excel Auto, who informed us that a check that morning revealed two defective spark plugs. After a road test, everything was perfect! We immediately received the quote to sign: €248.86. We were disgusted and angry. This minor fault could have been easily detected and repaired the same day, or at worst, the next day, as we had proposed. Instead, we lost our vacation, our booking money, and this "farce" cost our insurance company a huge amount to repatriate us first, then the car two weeks later. We now understand why our insurance increases every year. But it's not over yet... We repeatedly warned by email and phone that we absolutely had to get all four spark plugs back to enforce the warranty with the Renault dealership, which had replaced them during the service. Well, the secretary gave the driver a box with only three spark plugs, and when he expressed surprise, she bluntly told him that that was all they had given him... Move along, there's nothing to see here!!!
