I'm torn between incompetent and crook... Maybe both, actually: "The news isn't good, it's the oil pan that's blown... Blah blah blah." We arrived with a small oil leak, left with a much larger leak, and we called this man back, who assured us it wasn't a problem with a loose drain plug. Verdict from another mechanic (this one a master of the art): "It's definitely a problem with a bad gasket on the drain plug." We don't understand how this mechanic could have missed this. Avoid

At the end of our vacation, our vehicle developed a slight oil leak. This garage was recommended to us by one of his colleagues to check the source of the leak. He diagnosed a pan that needed replacing, but ultimately, it was nothing. This garage did nothing right because it improperly tightened the drain plug, which worsened the leak, and charged us for an oil change and gasket replacement for nothing. I do not recommend it.

Pricing based on what he thinks he can get away with: he did the same thing to me and my partner. After noticing that our license plates were from outside Haute-Savoie (he must not be aware that nowadays you can register a vehicle in any department), he simply charged us the same price. I know this because a local woman had recommended him and told me how much she had paid for the same service. Except the mechanic added about 20% to the normal price. Luckily, in the end, I was served by an employee who didn't know the owner had quoted me that price and applied the usual rate. My partner, on the other hand, consulted him for an oil change. The price quoted was outrageous, again after he checked the license plate. In the end, my partner went elsewhere for excellent service at a much better price. Finally, the owner recommended that I have the wheels rotated, supposedly because it was safer. In the end, several people told me that this service, which was of course chargeable but which he had presented in a way that made me think it was included in the initial service, was unnecessary. I think he takes advantage of women's naivety in particular because, by chance, at the vehicle inspection in Saint Jeoire, a woman was recounting a similar experience (he performed work on her vehicle that turned out to be useless because he gave her bad advice; the inspection center itself pointed this out). In short, I really don't recommend him; he's neither pleasant nor honest in my opinion, especially towards women.

I've been calling the garage since the beginning of the week just to get a simple estimate. The mechanic keeps asking me to call back because it's never a good time. And when I finally find the umpteenth available time to call, he tells me he's "not busy, it's Saturday," then he yells at me, "She's really starting to piss me off!! I'm sure it's the same woman again." This is unacceptable and outrageous! Completely unprofessional and pointless behavior that has no place here. Having customer requests is an advantage, and all it would take is scheduling a phone call to get an estimate... politeness and courtesy are the foundation of customer relations and respect. You are a despicable person. I do not recommend this garage.

This garage is run by an incredibly rude man! He's out to rip you off and he makes no secret of it! We contacted this man, who is an authorized Citroën garage, to order a car key (we lost our key and didn't have a spare), and he clearly told us he didn't want to be a pain! He said he was swamped with work! He refused to do the job unless we had the vehicle towed himself... even though we could have brought it in ourselves! I've rarely encountered such a bitter, rude, and impolite person! Honestly, you won't have any trouble finding a more serious, professional, and friendly mechanic! Avoid this place!
