Thank you so much to Guillaume, Sophie and all of the rest of the Point S team in Bourg-en-Bresse! Super friendly and professional service that I would recommend to anyone!
We stopped in here when we were in the area and had an issue with a wheel bearing on our campervan/camping car. After trying 10+ other mechanics in the area, none of which were even willing to take a look at it, at least within a week, we stumbled across Point S. They took a look immediately and got the parts ordered for the next morning. Unfortunately, our van is not in the best condition and when they got the wheel off they saw that the bolts were badly rusted and there was a big risk of breaking them which would have been much bigger and more expensive job. Guillaume explained all of the risks very clearly and was not trying to push us to do the job just to get the work, and told us we would most likely make it home without it breaking. In the end, we decided to take the risk of the bolts breaking and get the job done. To make sure that we could continue to stay in our van and not have it stuck in the garage with a missing wheel, they held off on the work until they got more parts ordered for if the bolts did break. In the end, they managed to get the bolts off without breaking them (an impressive feat, he showed me the bolts before trying to get them off and they were very bad) and got the bearing changed without the need for any extra work. They even let us stay in their carpark while we waited for parts, filled some water bottles for us, and even asked if we needed electricity. The labour costs werent the cheapest, but this was fine with us as the work done was very high quality and justified the price.
TL/DR: one of the few remaining honest, hard working and friendly garages left around. If you need any work done near bourg-en-bresse, this is the garage to go to.

Call without appointment at 9 a.m. on August 22, 2025, for the fitting of two tires. We received advice from a body shop not equipped for 255/35r19 tires. (I'm not a PointS customer and was only passing through Bourg-en-Bresse).
Okay to include it in their schedule because they had an appointment in Lyon at 12 p.m.!
Responsiveness, friendliness, and help finding my lost wheel lock nut in the passenger compartment!!!
Advice to quickly plan to change the other two tires because they're Quattro models...
A service that included mounting/balancing and rotating both tires and cleaning the rims for less than €45!
I recommend 5 ⭐️ and more.
Service completed at 10 a.m.!
The best part about not having to postpone my professional appointment!

The receptionist is very peculiar.
And they don't accept tires ordered online; it makes you wonder how they even order them.
This woman gets up every morning to go to Michelin or other tire shops.
This company made a fool of me in a meeting; there were three of them. It's up to you to decide whether to go there or not.
