Purchase of a used 207 1.4L petrol (140,000 km) in April 2024 with a 1-year warranty from this Peugeot garage, which claimed to have monitored the vehicle since it was first registered. After 5 months of use, I noticed excessive consumption of engine oil and coolant. I am forced to regularly top up these consumables at my own expense to avoid damaging the engine. 3 delayed diagnostics and interventions will be carried out by this garage and covered by the warranty without being able to resolve the problem (change of the expansion tank, change of the gasket and cylinder head cover, cleaning of the segmentation). 4 months after the end of the warranty, a red engine warning light appears as well as an alert on the dashboard "engine oil pressure alert". I am forced to seek emergency assistance from a Citroën garage, which is very critical of its counterpart. As a result, I had to pay for a new cylinder head cover gasket replacement, and the oil pressure problem persisted until the Peugeot Customer Service intervened. Since then, this garage has denied any responsibility and refused to take back the 207. When I tried to sell it myself, I was refused a technical inspection because the seat belt was frayed, even though it was in this condition when I bought it from this garage. I should have pointed this out at the time of purchase. In conclusion, be extra careful with this garage.

I visit this garage because my Honda CRX is stalling at low revs. I take the opportunity to have a new exhaust mid-pipe fitted: the boss tells me it'll take 30 minutes. Result: he calls me back to say that he and his colleagues tested the car, and according to them, it doesn't stall. (The fuel gauge has dropped significantly; they clearly had a good time.) I get a bill for an hour's time to install the mid-pipe. It explodes in the street after a few hours. Why? Brace yourself: they managed the feat of installing it... backwards. The boss on the phone is getting heated, refusing to admit his mistake. And yet, he had indeed installed the exhaust backwards. He was looking quite angry when he handed me the car. In short, that day, I paid for apprentice mechanics to take my car for a spin, have fun at my expense... and ruin a new midsize car. So, in conclusion, I don't think you can just leave any car in their hands.
