I wanted to get my timing belt done, so I requested a quote and made an appointment. The parts were unavailable, and I wasn't given a date for when they would be, but that wasn't their fault. The problem is that when I saw the quote, over €1000, I told the receptionist I would get quotes from other garages because I thought it was a bit expensive. Since then, my husband and I had a battery problem on another car, and the service was very unpleasant and unfriendly. The battery cost €220. At Lacouture next door, it was €140, so we went to Lacouture. My husband had to push the car himself to Lacouture.
What a shame, they used to be so nice. They probably didn't appreciate me going to the competition. As an aside, I paid €522 at Feu Vert for the timing belt replacement.

Efficient and fast service, and an incredibly friendly welcome. The receptionist, truly kind and lovely, went out of her way to find what we needed at the best price and as quickly as possible to get us back on our way home from vacation. The mechanics were also super friendly. People who still have a strong sense of commitment and doing a good job, which is rare these days! Thank you so much! We arrived home safe and sound. We hope the chocolates were good 😉

When my daughter's car broke down on the motorway, it was taken to the Renault garage in Morcenx, who then told my daughter that the costs to be incurred on her vehicle were so high that it was not worth doing them. My dissatisfaction with this agency stems from two issues:
- Firstly, the receptionist wasn't even able to tell my daughter precisely what the problem was that evening (claiming it was a cylinder and piston issue that would cost over €2,000, before asking her to call back the next morning for more information), when in fact it was a problem with the injection pump (but, strangely, the price remained exactly the same...).
- Secondly, because, as advertised, the cost of scrapping the vehicle was free, it turned out that this wasn't exactly the case: while the receptionist had started to fill out the transfer certificate before giving it to my daughter to complete, she instructed her to check the "transferred" box instead of the "transferred for destruction" box, and there, to our When we asked, she specified that the owner, a mechanic, was going to repair the vehicle. We therefore tried to negotiate a small discount since the vehicle wasn't going to be scrapped, and, to our great surprise and dismay, she became somewhat irritated and tried to "blackmail" us by saying that if the vehicle did indeed go to the junkyard, we would have to pay for the diagnostic... This is what I consider to be a case of holding customers hostage, because, knowing that the vehicle was no longer drivable, we had no choice but to comply with the demands of this highly dubious business owner. I should also add that we didn't receive any documentation specifying the breakdown or the cost of repairs; everything was communicated verbally (for your information, I just checked the prices of a similar non-running car on Le Bon Coin, and they are selling for around €1000...).
In conclusion, I will just add this: if you have the choice, go somewhere else but this place.
