Hello everyone,
While I initially trusted them for a simple diagnostic check, I am utterly disgusted with the St. Felix garage. They had to scrap my C5 Tourer without even being able to show it to another diesel specialist who had a different opinion and wanted to see it.
It took four months of downtime at this garage (why such a long wait?), the complete dismantling of my cylinder head (for no apparent reason) into separate parts (photos attached), and they even removed the engine from my car (without my consent), even though I had only requested a diagnostic check.
They could have simply removed the valve cover to see why a rocker arm had slipped in the timing belt!
Given the state of the disassembled engine, I then specifically asked Sullyvan Tastard not to reinstall it, leaving it in the trunk so I could give it to another specialist diesel mechanic who wanted to examine it before making any further work.
Well, the engine was put back in its place in that state despite my written request, twice in a row by text message and then by email.
He even replied by text message, "Message received!"
Yet, he did the opposite of what I asked. How can I trust him?
My conclusion is that, from day one, he tried to sell me a used engine without giving me the opportunity to have it diagnosed by someone else, all while badmouthing other mechanics he doesn't know, and of course, without any proof.
I'm not going to start legal proceedings as I no longer have the energy, but this experience has (once again) left me with a very bitter taste regarding the reliability of this profession.
Stay very vigilant and remember that words fly away, but written words remain!

I wasn't a regular customer, but after my car broke down near the garage, the team was very responsive and took care of my vehicle immediately. I was able to pick it up the very next day.
I will definitely return to Garage Saint Félix for my car maintenance because of their professionalism and friendly service.
I highly recommend this establishment.

A few months ago, I recommended this garage to a colleague who was experiencing a creaking noise in his steering wheel. According to him, during his first visit, the mechanic told him it was a problem with the steering column and fixed it by tightening the column seal. However, after a few days, the problem returned. When he went to see one of the garage managers to explain that the problem was still recurring, the manager told him it was a worn steering column that needed to be completely replaced (steering columns are never replaced except in the event of an accident; they are considered wear-resistant parts). A manager then suggested my colleague order a used one and bring it back to the garage for installation. My colleague bought the part, and when he returned it to the garage, the manager told him that it couldn't be repaired and that the car had a braking problem. We went to see another mechanic, and he manually diagnosed the car and found that the problem stemmed from loose ball joints, nothing to do with the steering column. In short, the garage was incompetent; I would never recommend it to anyone. I'm disappointed. When you're not capable, you should say so without lying to people.

Very warm welcome from the owner and quick appointment scheduling.
The work on the car was carried out with care. Highly recommended.

I'll never go back.
I went to this garage to have my car serviced and prepared for its MOT.
Everything went well; the mechanic told me the car was clean and would pass the MOT.
The MOT ultimately required a follow-up inspection, with bearings and wishbones to be changed, and the brake fluid levels were poor.
Without further ado, I returned to the garage to get a quote for the repairs requested for the follow-up inspection and to complain about the levels that hadn't been checked during the service.
The mechanic told me, "You'll get your quote tonight." With no news, I called back a week later to find out the status of the quote. I was told that they didn't know my car (and the quote) and asked if I'd gone to the wrong garage.
