Excellent job done following my motorway recovery

A garage to avoid.
The €200 motorway breakdown service charge was perfectly reasonable; it's the regulated rate.
But the owner charged me an extra €30 just to load my car onto a friend's trailer, an operation that took less than ten minutes. It's pure and simple extortion.
Fortunately, the mechanic who came was professional, kind, and impeccable.
It's a shame his boss isn't like him.
In short, avoid this garage if you don't want to get ripped off.

UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! They ripped us off.
On our way back from vacation, we broke down on the highway. The "mechanic" told us we'd be looking at around €1000 worth of parts. In the end, we decided to have our car towed back home to Belgium. We asked our mechanic how much it would cost, and he said it was just a very minor problem.
In short, they tried to scam us. They don't even know how a car works. Furthermore, they need to improve their customer service. When we spoke to them, it was like talking to a brick wall.
This establishment is to be avoided at all costs!

Avoid at all costs! We broke down on the motorway and our insurance company's roadside assistance sent this mechanic. After towing, without even lifting the hood or connecting a diagnostic tool, the mechanic told us the engine was shot and offered to buy the car from us for... €450! Having serious doubts, I had the car towed back to my mechanic in Villeurbanne, which cost me €300. My mechanic replaced the oil pressure switch, which costs €145. At best, this mechanic is incompetent, but I think it's worse than that...
