Excellent service with our recent breakdown. Had our car in the garage and problem diagnosed within a couple of hours and then kept us regularly updated re. progress so we could alter ferry bookings back to UK. Super communication from all staff, especially Andy. Thank you Renault Ploemeur.

I just bought a Trafic III with less than 50,000 km. To be able to justify the follow-up in case of resale, I decided to have the service done by a professional: Renault in Plœmeur. 325 euros for the service! Labor, oil, and oil filter. At that price, I thought I could count on the professionalism so highly touted to justify the prices charged. Back home, only 5 km away (thankfully), I smelled oil, which prompted me to open the hood to check. I noticed that the oil dipstick hadn't been repositioned correctly, and that oil had been sprayed onto the engine. Not a few drops, but a lot of oil. Having carefully repositioned the dipstick, I returned to the garage to report the problem. The technician acknowledged his mistake and proceeded to clean the engine. As a former motorcycle mechanic myself, I know perfectly well that mistakes happen. However, I also know that excuses aren't enough. When you call yourself a professional, you behave like one. There are very specific procedures in the workshop to avoid these mistakes, which is also what justifies the prices displayed. And above all, I would have appreciated not hearing the manager's arguments to minimize the situation. Yes, sir, oil spilling on the engine can be dangerous, contaminating the brake pads, for example. What would have happened if I had had to drive 50 km or more? What if your customer had no mechanical knowledge? How many days would it take for them to notice the problem? When would the gauge light up? When would the brakes no longer respond? An immediate gesture of goodwill would have been the least we could do; not just consider it during a possible future visit. That's what a true professional would have done. We're sorry, we'll take responsibility, and we'll deduct the labor. Because we're professionals, and our customers' trust is essential. So, no, there won't be a next visit to the Renault garage in Plœmeur because trust in a professional is essential.

Top-notch garage! They managed to get my Renault Master back on the road and repair it within a week, thanks to excellent advice from Thierry and Ronan. And most importantly, the bill was more than reasonable for a garage specializing in my vehicle's brand, compared to other garages in the area that were even more expensive than the Renault dealership. Thank you!

I dropped off my vehicle for a complete tire replacement and service. The service was excellent, as usual, with smiles from the whole team and a great atmosphere.

ZERO STARS, STAY AWAY! Or only come once because the first service will be reasonably priced, but it's only there to build trust, bait you, and charge you exorbitant bills the day you have a major repair to do. €185 for an air conditioning refill. I told them it had never worked, but they just refilled the gas, and it seems there's a leak. It was great to drive from Lorient to Barcelona with the windows open, thank you! €600 for the quote for a water box replacement. We're talking about a Clio 3, not a Porsche. Plus, it's fun to do standing starts when leaving the garage! Technically they should give me a free gas refill, but before that they will have to find the problem and solve it, but now that I know that it will cost me several hundred euros even if it is only a joint I am in the bone, there is no question of going back there.
