Following a significant impact from a branch under the front of the vehicle in June 2025, our FIAT DUCATO was towed to the CITROEN dealership in Ploërmel. The initial diagnosis indicated the need to replace the oil pan. One of the parts was in stock, and the missing part arrived at the dealership in December 2025, after the vehicle had been out of service for six months. After reassembly, it became necessary to replace another part, and a crucial one at that: the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), at a cost of around €2,400 including VAT, bringing the total cost of the repairs to nearly €5,000. We agreed to this. When we finally picked up the vehicle, after carefully checking that all the checks had been carried out, about ten minutes after leaving, a water temperature warning light came on and then went off. Subsequently, the engine water temperature gauge fluctuated slightly to the right and then returned to the center. So we called the Citroën dealership, and the service advisor said it wasn't abnormal and that we could continue our journey. Finally, after about 100 kilometers, the water temperature warning light came on red, and we immediately stopped the engine. We called the Citroën dealership in Ploërmel again, and they told us we were too far away and that they couldn't do anything for us, and that basically, they hadn't even asked to have the Fiat Ducato back then…no comment…The vehicle was towed to Fiat Professional in Bruz: the diagnosis was quick—a coolant leak at the radiator due to an impact—the same impact caused by the branch in June 2025 (see 2 photos). In short, the Citroën dealership in Ploërmel was unable to see this impact under the radiator, even though the vehicle had been with them for six months…Lamentable!!
