This garage claims this is a timing belt that didn't need replacing and met the manufacturer's standards (it's all cracked and swollen, but that's normal for them 😬). This belt came from a 308 1.2 PureTech 130hp that was 5 years old and had 57,000 km on it. Peugeot refused to cover the cost of the repair because, although I had taken the necessary steps to prepare a claim (the garage refused to help me with this process, basically telling me to sort it out myself), when customer service contacted the garage, they confirmed that the belt was still good and that replacement could wait another year until it reached the 6-year mark. Basically, I, the customer, had to pay if I wanted to change it; I'm almost exaggerating... Ladies and gentlemen, I'll let you be the judge. But any reasonably honest and reputable mechanic will confirm that a timing belt in that condition simply needs replacing. So I had it changed anyway, paid, and got rid of the car. However, I still wanted to share my experience with this garage, which, in this whole affair, was only interested in making money, nothing more, nothing less. Indeed, you should know that there are several levels of manufacturer coverage, and in some cases, it's the garage's responsibility to cover its share (I don't have the details, so I'm not going to say just anything). And clearly, there was no way they were going to work for free (labor). After all, I can assume that with all of Stellantis's troubles with their PureTech engines, their AdBlue, and even their latest hybrid 😅, it's not good for business, but everyone has their own problems (I had mine, as you've seen). Anyway, this is my little parting gift to this garage, which obviously won't be seeing me again anytime soon. And ladies and gentlemen, before considering buying a Peugeot, Citroën, or any other vehicle from the Stellantis group, do your research. I'm editing my comment now, seeing that Alex (probably Mr. Ricard) claims I've got the wrong garage 🤣. He's clearly lost track of time. His post was published 8 months ago (July 2025 today), so let's say October/December 2024. He says they haven't been Stellantis for a year, so around December 2023. My post is from July 2023, and you were still a Peugeot dealership then! But let's make it simpler. To show everyone, in addition to the incompetence you've demonstrated in this case, I'm going to post photos of the invoice in question, which clearly shows that you're still dealing with Peugeot 😁. And also the response from Peugeot France, which explicitly states that the claim will not be covered following your feedback when they contacted you! You really have no shame, huh? It's pathetic. You weren't serious, and instead of responding to my comment, you repost another one hoping I won't see it and that others will form an opinion in your favor? Well, let everyone form their own opinion from now on; the facts are there and undeniable. Nice try, though 😅 In any case, you have my number if you want to contact me. I've left enough information on the invoice for you to do so. Well, perhaps we'll meet again for a third comment edit. I have better things to do than invent stories and harm professionals who don't deserve it. Which wasn't your case in this matter, you need to own up to it, gentlemen!

Too weird... Nothing to say about damage repairs, but what about leaving your car for 2-3 days for repairs with a FULL box of gum and getting it back EMPTY? How unprofessional to rummage through your customers' belongings.

Be careful, the garage has changed its name, but the bodywork department has the same staff, so avoid it. Good reception, but incompetent, and the bodywork and paint department is rubbish. I had to bring the vehicle back three times to get a similar color (front wing, door, and rear wing), not even the same color. They are really incapable.

Following a loss of power at low RPMs (weak turbo) without any warning lights, the garage cleared the fault code in the electronics. The car is running perfectly! Well done to the team! And thank you for not charging for the fault diagnosis. Highly recommended! 👏🏻👌
