After breaking down on the motorway, my car ended up at this garage for a diagnostic check. The price of the diagnostic wasn't clearly stated beforehand, and I was subsequently given a very high quote, which I believe included unnecessary repairs.
I decided to pick up my car over the weekend, and luckily I did, as this allowed me to avoid storage fees, even though the car was parked in a public lot, as well as fees for key retrieval.
Nevertheless, I paid the bill for a diagnostic check that was supposed to last one hour, as well as a battery recharge.
Afterwards, I had the car checked at my usual mechanic: the diagnostic check took 10 minutes, and the repairs cost me €629 less than the quote I received here.
Advice: Don't get your repairs done at this garage. And if you really have no other choice, demand a precise and written breakdown of each amount requested before signing anything.
