I bought my Citroën C3 Max petrol in March 2025, and since then it's been a series of electronic problems and manufacturer recalls. Among these issues, I've had times when the car wouldn't start, which is simply unacceptable for a new car. Currently, some of the headlights are leaking. The latest problem: the car was sold to me without the key for the locking wheel nut. So, I can't change a tire in case of a flat. Instead of taking responsibility for this mistake, the dealership suspects me of either losing it or not reporting it early enough, even though I've never needed to use the emergency kit and therefore never needed this key before. (Note that I had to wait nine months to receive a trunk floor part that was missing upon delivery, a fact the salesperson acknowledged at the time. This part was located directly above the infamous missing key.) The result: €180 out of pocket for a defect I believe is the dealership's responsibility. And I should be satisfied because I received a 50% discount… a discount that doesn't appear anywhere on the invoice. We're talking about a basic component that was missing from the start, and a blatant refusal to acknowledge responsibility. I sincerely regret my purchase. I usually support French car manufacturers. This car, when it's working properly, is pleasant to drive. But certainly not under these conditions, and not with Stellantis. I strongly advise against this dealership.

The staff were friendly, but the vehicle is frequently in the garage, even though it was bought new (less than a year ago). There have been several problems in the past year (the telematics unit was non-functional for nine months, making it impossible to schedule charging since purchase), then two weeks later, the vehicle was recalled for a hub and brake issue. Since then, there's been a suspicious noise (a squeaking sound when reversing), and the appointment isn't for another month. Not to mention the onboard computer, which has already reported traction problems three times. Finally, orange warning lights frequently illuminate briefly and then disappear. I hope that during the next appointment (the one-year check-up), when the vehicle will be immobilized for two days, a complete inspection will be carried out so I can finally have a like-new vehicle with no more problems.
