We were sold a campervan that was supposed to be very nice. After paying for it and picking it up, we noticed there were traces of moisture inside. After removing a piece of plastic that was covered by the curtains, we realized it had been used to cover a very important piece of wood and that it was completely rotten. The opposite side showed the same damage (as shown in the photos).
After contacting the seller, Fabrice Guerinet, he denies all responsibility and blames the previous owner.
After contacting the previous owner, he told me he sold it as-is for €23,000, informing me of the condition of the motorhome.
Guerinet changed the oil, filters, and belts, added €7,000, and put it up for sale for a non-negotiable €30,000 without repairing the damage.
Now he won't reduce the price or pay for the repairs, which cost around €3,000.
100% profit, 0% liability.
After trying to resolve the problem amicably for nearly two months, it only resulted in legal action.

This is a terrible garage. They don't even replace all their parts, so I have to buy new ones because it's marked as faulty on the vehicle inspection report. So much for trust! And no, I didn't go to the wrong garage; it was definitely yours. They told me so during the inspection. You know perfectly well what you did to my car, and yes, you repaired it and did the inspection. But strangely enough, when I take it for another inspection, it tells me this: "Yes, I have reverse lights; the sensor on the gearbox is missing." Plus, you're acting in bad faith.

Being on holiday at a campsite in Montalivet, and following a storm with strong gusts of wind on 18 06 24 at 1 a.m., a branch fell on my car, with the windshield broken, rapid assistance at the Guerinet garage, with a call at 2 p.m., to confirm, and reassure me, that the windshield was ordered, phew, on the 21st, I will get my car back, in addition very clean, and a very warm welcome. Very friendly and efficient staff. Work carried out in a very short time. I am very very satisfied. (I would love to have a Garage in Chateauroux like that!) Thanks again.
