My car's almost 8-year-old, dead battery prevented me from restarting after picking up my child from the nearby school twice, a week apart. Both times, I went to see the Citroën garage staff, who immediately came with a case allowing me to start immediately and drive off. The staff at this garage are welcoming and the garage is well-maintained. I recommend it even though I'm not a customer because my child's mother works at the competition nearby, because there are always a lot of vehicles and therefore customers. That means what it says.

Several years later, when I removed the glow plugs from my father's vehicle, I noticed that only 2 out of 4 had been changed. However, this garage, with an invoice to back it up, charged him 4. Only the 2 most accessible ones were changed. I find this unacceptable and I do not recommend this garage at all. The owner did not want to acknowledge things or even make a commercial gesture. All this in dishonesty and lies.

Thanks to this very helpful and very professional mechanic! Monday 18/07. Returning from the north, the engine is jerking. I exit the motorway and continue on the RN to Saulieu where I see black smoke in the rearview mirror sometimes when accelerating. I stop at Citroën Saulieu where the boss comes to look at my Volkswagen Golf engine and finds the fault in 15 seconds. Crack in a turbo hose invisible to the naked eye because it is under the hose! Bravo! I ask if I can return to Chambéry by covering the hole with large tape? Yes, driving quietly. Result: I returned quietly at a maximum of 2700 rpm and I changed the hose myself 3 days later. Thanks to this great professional for his qualities!

Friendly at first... incompetent and expensive at the end. Here are the facts. As a minor customer of this garage for routine maintenance, I had to call them after a collision involving the right rear bodywork and mechanical damage to the rear axle. First, it was impossible to complete the repairs for 3 weeks to 1 month: the reason? No staff; an employee had just left (the boss asked, "Do you happen to know a mechanic?"). After all these weeks of waiting, I received the vehicle back, which looked decent from the outside, with a bill commensurate with the work. So, high, but paid. But as soon as I sat down behind the wheel, nothing worked: the indicators and lights were inoperative, the speedometer and gauge needles were moving in all directions, and the battery gave up after an overnight recharge to try to fix the electrical problems. So, back to the garage, explaining the situation: a car that needed repairing and was returned with new malfunctions and a dead battery. Repairs completed quickly, and the car seemed to be running this time. BUT received a new invoice + the battery at €110. Back to the garage, explaining that I would only pay the initial invoice and not for the new problems that clearly, and without discussion, resulted from a botched repair. Angry boss, refusing to admit his fault. Result: Relationship with this garage definitively ended.
