After several years of having the garage service my vehicle, I reported during the last service of my vehicle (I specify a Peugeot 2008 1.5 blue hdi) that there was a rattling noise when starting from cold! I was told there was nothing unusual. Six weeks after July 4th, the engine refused to start! The camshaft chain had just broken, I went to the garage to see if they could look into what was going on, I was told "hey sir, I can't take care of it until the beginning of September!!! I use my vehicle to go to and from work and it's impossible to lend me a vehicle, so run away from this garage!
For your information, the follow-up from the branch and other garages is no better, it's September 26th and my vehicle is still not repaired and I have to rent a car to be able to work, it's a scandal.

The new owners are exonerating themselves from the previous owner's problems; things are off to a bad start. Never again will this brand make a 75-year-old pay more than the bill. Kudos for the trust.

Greeted with a smile, I left with a car that looked like new.
Thank you for this service, and see you soon!

The garage sells used cars first-hand except that it does not mention in its advertisements that the vehicles come from car rental companies, which implies that they are used by many rental companies and therefore by as many owners. I traveled 400 km round trip from Paris on a Friday to examine the vehicle. Having no experience in buying cars, I asked the owner to come back with a mechanic the following week to examine it closely. The owner replied that there is no guarantee that the vehicle will remain available and that a deposit of €198 must be left in order to block it. As a result, my mechanic advised me not to buy a rental vehicle because it would be too worn, according to him, and he told me that the garage should have indicated the origin of the vehicle in its advertisement, as it is their duty to provide information. In the end, the garage refused to give me my deposit back despite the lack of information from them on the advert. It seems to me that this is an illegal way of selling cars! I still have the screenshots of the advert.
