An exceptional garage that did everything they could to get us back on the road. We had a blown hose (the engine, not me of course 🤣) on the highway and ended up at Bouyer Garage, who did an initial repair and ordered another part for the next morning. The following day, it was the DPF's turn to act up, but the remarkable team at the garage didn't give up and got us back on our road trip. Incompetent garage to avoid. On the advice of my Citroën dealer in Nantes, where I was having a problem with my PureTech engine in my C3, they told me it was possible to replace the piston rings to avoid having to replace it. I left the car at Garage Bouyer in March for a diagnosis. I picked it up in June (in the meantime, the Takata airbag had been replaced) with the covers still not in place. According to them, the engine was dead and needed replacing at a cost of €5,000. Given the price, I decided to sell it to a professional for a pittance. As a result, he changed the timing belt and cleaned all the residue from the old one that had accumulated in the engine compartment, and it's running again.
