Today, as she does every year, my wife took her 3008 to Euromaster in Saint Marcel (27) to have its winter tires fitted and stored there.
Once the vehicle was picked up, she was informed that the summer tires were damaged, too old and worn, and that Euromaster refused to keep them.
My wife expressed her surprise, as her vehicle had just passed the MOT and no comments had been made to her about it.
When it came time to pay, she asked if her summer tires had been put in her trunk since Euromaster no longer wanted to keep them.
Surprise! They had been scrapped!!!
So she asked for them to be picked up and taken home.
A quick clarification: these tires are indeed 6 years old (my God!), they are in perfect condition since they are alternated with winter tires, and their mileage must be around 20,000 km maximum. They don't know about hot weather since the car is parked in a closed garage all summer (June to September).
The tires are half-worn and can safely travel at least 10,000 km.
Conclusion: someone tried to defraud my wife. She's a woman, yes, I can attest to that (!), so she's a potential sucker for these so-called experts.
You've now been warned; think again before you go to this garage.

I chose this Euromaster center to have two winter tires fitted that I bought from Allopneus. Friendly service, quick fitting, and perfectly balanced wheels. I recommend them.

As usual, the person at the office is super friendly and the service is always excellent. No complaints. Unlike the person I spoke to on the phone when I tried to change my appointment date.
