Excellent mechanic. We arrived from Ireland today and had a problem with our camper in regards to be overheating. Stopped here. By the name I thought was Portuguese as Martins is a very Portuguese surname and my french is rusty. But anyway still unsure..but they quickly sort out the issue and explained why it was overheating and with in a few minutes we were back in our journey.

We had mechanical failure on the motorway. Both caravan and car where collected returned to their garage. Parts orded and car fixed all in the same day. Quick efficient service thank you

My car broke down on the A84 motorway yesterday, January 13, 2026, after I'd picked it up from a garage near Avranches. The garage had already broken down on the A84 on January 2nd; an injector had failed, and the same thing happened again. So, Martins Garage came to my rescue on the motorway. They towed me back to their garage and went above and beyond like I've never seen a garage do. They made countless phone calls, and after all that, they found a (brand new, of course) injector in Bayeux, a two-hour round trip! They sent someone to get the part, and I was home that same evening. For your information, I live 170 km from this garage. They could easily have told me, "We don't have the part; you'll have to wait until tomorrow. Check with the service advisor," but no! A huge thank you to Martins Garage. If you have any mechanical problems in this area, don't hesitate to contact them. If he can, he'll help you out, and what's more, he doesn't inflate the bill. His prices are fair, and he didn't charge me for the trip to Bayeux, though he could have. All the best to you, and thank you again for your professionalism and kindness, as that's becoming increasingly rare. A garage like this is sadly no longer made.

My Passat broke down on the motorway on Monday, November 27th. They responded quickly and towed me to the garage. They tried to fix it quickly, but it turned out to be the water pump. I was able to pick up my car on Saturday, November 1st, even though the garage was closed. Excellent work and a reasonable price. Thanks again, highly recommended garage!

During our holiday in Normandy, our campervan broke down en route. We ended up at Garage Martins in Tessy-Bocage. Despite it being a very busy Friday afternoon, the mechanic still took the time to help us. He immediately checked under the campervan, ordered the necessary parts, and ensured everything was repaired that same evening. He even topped up the oil.
Thanks to this fast and professional service, we were able to continue our trip without any long delays. We are very grateful for the help and flexibility. A reliable and customer-friendly garage, even for travelers who don't speak the language well.
