Completely unprofessional, dishonest, and with no respect for customer loyalty.
Multiple disappointments, a complete mess with the vehicle.
Avoid at all costs! I'm disgusted.
Photos attached: bent crossmember not replaced, a slapped-on glue on a broken part, and so on... Then they erased the vehicle's history after the collision. Bravo!
Hello Mr. Collet,
Following your reply
Regarding the infamous housing you mentioned
For your information, the correct technical term is the flap.
The mechanic, who isn't a friend but the professional who has been servicing my friend's vehicle for 15 years,
Indeed, he removed the bumper to take out the flap because it was causing the engine fault on the dashboard.
He noticed, by connecting the vehicle to the diagnostic tool, that there had been a fault at 92,000 km without knowing that the vehicle had been hit by a deer.
The flap fault did indeed date back to the accident, and it probably deteriorated over time before the warning light came on again.
The mechanic confirmed to me that a flap cannot break without an impact; however, this one could have caused more damage since it ended up getting caught in the ventilation fan.
You have the nerve to talk to me about a curb, when you see As evidenced by the photos, which clearly show unrepaired damage! Regarding the expert who didn't come to your location and made his assessment based on photos:
It's up to you to assess the damage as you dismantle the vehicle
And to inform the expert about any additional costs.
You're not being honest, and certainly not customer-oriented, since your response was to tell me, "I didn't ask you to come to my place" (11 years of loyalty). Besides, my insurance company told me to go to the affiliated garage, which was my mistake.
You mentioned photos, which weren't attached to the message.
Please send me the photos from October 25, 2023, and the one from October 14, 2024.
From this, I deduce, along with another reputable mechanic, that the work wasn't done properly.
Finally, I think your employees aren't telling you everything. I'm not sure you're very involved in the workshop.
Because when we picked up the vehicle on October 14, 2024, there was a rubbing and clunking noise coming from the front right tire! That didn't seem to bother your worker; he must have straightened a part or a sheet of metal (Help!)
I stand by my statement: the work was botched!
