My experience with the Prost garage was quite astonishing. I was helped out on the highway in early February for a loss of engine power in my 2018 Peugeot 308, and the result was: Turbo out of service (OK, it can happen...). A week after signing the turbo replacement quote, there was no news, so I called the garage to get one. The result: "A new turbo was installed, unfortunately, during the test, this new turbo broke and damaged the engine: Engine out of service." That's all! Seven months of legal proceedings followed (expert appraisal, counter-appraisal), during which the garage completely disengaged itself.
Although the expert appraisals concluded that the garage was fully liable, I had to hire a lawyer to obtain a rental vehicle for just a few weeks. Since the mechanic was unaware of the progress and the next steps, I had to contact his insurer and his insurer's parent company myself, only to finally obtain, 7 months after the breakdown, payment, in "pieces" of my vehicle (under its market value, of course). I even had to contact the junkyard that was supposed to buy my vehicle as a salvage yard, since no one, starting with the garage, bothered to inform me of the situation.
A completely absurd and unacceptable situation. I therefore spent 6 months (including the summer holidays) without a vehicle due to an assembly error. The various formal notices and registered letters had no effect. The garage responsible never called me to immediately buy my vehicle back or at least apologize for forcing me to spend 6 months on my own. Making mistakes can happen, but leaving a customer in the lurch for seven months without the slightest qualm or taking responsibility is simply unacceptable.
Based on this experience, my only response is this review, which does not recommend this establishment.

Since buying my vehicle from this garage, I've never had a single complaint. Always excellent service. The staff is very friendly.

The manager was extremely competent and friendly. He diagnosed and repaired the problem instantly after the engine warning light came on. I was delighted with my visit to this garage and all the professional advice I received. Excellent!
