My lease agreement was coming to an end, so I went to the dealership to buy a new car on a lease agreement, just like my old one. My assigned sales advisor, Maxime Paetzold, gave me excellent advice and listened carefully to all my questions and requests. After choosing a 208 in Selenium Grey, which I think is stunning, Maxime and the dealership team took care of everything, right up to handing over the keys. I'm extremely grateful to Maxime and the entire team behind this service. I highly recommend them.

Forced to give one star??? Be very careful!!!! Make sure you ask for all the documents before buying!!!! I bought a used Peugeot 208 in July 2024 with very low mileage. It's been a year and a half since I got it, and the timing belt is broken. Yet the seller, Maxime, told me it would be changed before the sale. And I trusted him completely, I didn't ask for the paperwork, and now I'm stuck paying €900. No understanding, no gesture of goodwill from them. Shameful!!! Be very careful. The car originally came from Béthune, but the sale took place in Wattrelos. We contacted Béthune, and thank you for their honesty and for not just taking our money. They told us that you have a warranty when you have all repairs and maintenance done at Peugeot. We contacted Wattrelos again about the timing belt warranty, and honestly, it was a real pain!!! And it's not over yet, because I have the feeling it's deliberate. Two days after having it changed, everything was fine until I noticed an oil leak. I contacted Peugeot Wattrelos, and the mechanic answered. I said, "Yes, hello, my car came from your shop two days ago, the timing belt was off, my oil level was at the minimum, and there was oil on the ground." His response: "Oh, okay, well, you'll have to come back early Monday, I can't do anything right now." Nice, thanks! You should also know that every time—and this is a lot—we've never had a loaner car, never! We also asked for some kind of compensation because this is ridiculous, and he replied, "We can't do anything. If I'm asking you this question, it's because I've already looked into it!" But no, he doesn't want to! Shame on you! Put yourselves in your customers' shoes! The timing belt replacement appointment was a few days ago; otherwise, nothing was scheduled until February, which means it's broken down and there are no more cars available. They don't care about that. Re-evaluate your priorities for appointments. Also, my wife and family came with us, and even today, when we dropped off the car, not a single "hello" from anyone—not the saleswoman, the mechanic, or anyone else! Do you even know what politeness is?! Just one thing to say to people who will buy there, especially Peugeot: ask for all the paperwork. Know one thing: even if your timing belt is no longer under warranty, all repairs/servicing are done at Peugeot. You do have a warranty, unfortunately, nobody knows that, but again, thank you Peugeot Béthune for telling us. Because there's absolutely no honesty in Wattrelos. They only care about the money and have no manners. We were going to come back to buy another car, but you missed the sale. We'll go elsewhere. Good luck! Goodbye!
